Ingredients
- 2 cups Crisco
- 2 pounds Confectioner's sugar (8 cups)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-2 teaspoons flavoring (vanilla* and/or butter)
- 6-8 oz whipping cream

Preparation
Step 1
Cream shortening until fluffy. Add sugar and continue creaming until well blended. Add salt, flavoring and whipping cream. Blend on low speed until moistened then beat at med/high until fluffy.
*use clear vanilla for white frosting or regular vanilla for cream-colored.
