Ingredients
- 3 lb broilers
- celery tops
- 1/2 cup parsley
- 1 small onion
- 4 TBSP butter
- 4 TBSP flour
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 lb mushrooms
- 2 TBSP dry sherry
- 8 oz find noodles, boiled and drained
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 4 TBSP parmesan cheese
- 2 1/2 tsp sale
- pepper to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Cook broilers in saucepan with water, celery, parsley, onion & 2 tsp salt. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat. Simmer until chicken is done. Remove chicken & bone it. Strain broth & keep it. Saute mushrooms in butter. Stir in flour, 1/2 tsp salt & pepper. Add 2 cups chicken broth & heavy cream slowly and cook stirring constantly until thickened. Add cut up chicken and sherry to sauce.
Place noodles in greased 13 x 9 baking dish. Top with chicken mixture. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs & cheese. If serving immediateley, brown in broiler. Can be frozen. If frozen put in 375 oven for 1 hour or until bubbly.
