Ingredients

  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs, divided
  • 1/4 cup each minced red bell pepper, celery, red onion
  • 2 tbs lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 dashes Tabasco sauce
  • 3 tbs flat leaf parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 cups fresh crab meat
  • 1/4 cup clarified butter
  • OLD BAY Mayo: 1/3 cup mayo, 2 tsp lemon juice,1/2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a bowl combine 1 cup panko with veggies, lemon juice, mayo and eggs, Tabasco, parsley and salt. Mix.
2. Gently add crab meat to the above mixture.
3. Gently form into patties and coat top and bottom with remaining panko
4. In a small bowl combine Old Bay mayo ingredients and chill until ready to use
5. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and melt clarified butter. Saute cakes on both sides until golden brown. Serve with the Old Bay Mayo
