  • 4 All beef hot dogs or sausage links
  • 4 Strips bacon
  • 4 Hot dog buns
  • 4 slices Cheese
  • 4 Large eggs, over-easy
  • 1 Tablespoon unsalted butter
  • Salsa or taco sauce (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Take each hot dog and wrap it in a strip of bacon. Lay the wrapped hot dogs on a baking sheet.

Bake the hot dogs at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes until the bacon is very crispy.

Toast your hot dog buns.

Place 1 slice of cheese on each bun.

Add butter to a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.

Once butter is simmering and hot, crack in four eggs. Cook eggs for 2 minutes on the first side until the whites are mostly cooked.
Carefully flip eggs to and cook for just 15 seconds on the second side.

Remove eggs from heat.

Add an egg to each hot dog bun along with a bacon wrapped hot dog.

Drizzle with taco sauce if desired.

Serve immediately!
