  • tuna
  • spinach
  • artichoke
  • pepper
  • anise
  • mustard
  • butter
  • tomato/roasted pepper

Preparation

Step 1

cook penne per package directions.

smear mustard on tuna. liberally season with pepper and anise seeds. heat olive oil, sear tuna on both side until crust forms and center still pink.

in same pan, saute tomatoes if using tomatoes, add artichokes and roasted pepper. Cook until tomatoes are cooked or until heated through.

lower heat. add cold butter in to pan slowly to make sauce. season to taste.

add cooked pasta and spinach. mix. serve.
