Ingredients
- 2/3 cup heavy cream
- 6 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup

Preparation
Step 1
Pour heavy cream in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
Remove pan from heat and add chocolate and corn syrup. Let stand for 5 minutes. Whisk chocolate and cream until smooth. Once mixed, transfer ganache to a clean bowl and let stand; stirring often. Use immediately because it gets pretty hard when refrigerated. If you do need to use it later, store tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Just be sure to gently reheat ganache in the microwave on medium power before use.
