Ingredients
- 9 inch baked pie shell
- 6 cups fresh strawberries (about 1 1/2 quarts)
- 1 cup water
- 3 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 3oz package cream cheese

Step 1
Mash enough berries to make one cup. Stir together sugar and cornstarch. Gradually stir in water and crushed berries. Cook over medium heat stiring constanly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 min. Cool. Beat cream cheese until smooth; spread on bottem of pie shell. Fill shell with remaining berries; pour cooked mixture over top. Chill at least 3 hours or until set.
