Ingredients

  • Pork Butt, 4-7 lbs.
  • 1 Teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 4 Cloves Garlic, peeled
  • 1 Whole Onion, ,quartered
  • 2 Tablespoons Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Black Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons White Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

Preparation

Step 1

Trim pork and place into a dutch oven. Preheat oven to 300F.

Place all ingredients into a food processor, and combine until a nice paste forms. Pour the paste over the pork and rub into every nook and cranny.

Cover the pork and place into the oven for 6-7 hours. When done, let rest uncovered for 15-30 min.

Shred pork until desired size, then add to flour tortillas and serve with sour cream, pico de gallo, salsa, etc.
