Butter Cookie

Ingredients

• 2-1/3 C all purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 C butter, softened
• 1 C light brown sugar, firmly packed
• 1/2 C sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In small bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt.

In large bowl, with mixer on medium speed, cream together butter, brown sugar an sugar until fluffy. mix in eggs and vanilla. Reduce mixer to low and slowly blend in flour mixture.

Drop by rounded tablespoons, 3-inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake on middle rack 12-14 miknutes or until cookies are golden in color. Remove from oven and allow to rest a few minutes on sheet before transferring to wire rack to cool.
