Ingredients
- 2 pkgs pound cake mix
- 2 tbsp shredded orange peel
- 2 tsp shredded lemon peel
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup orange juice
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp rum

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare cake mixes as directed on package adding orange and lemon peel. Turn into floured 10" fluted tube pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 to 1 1/4 hours. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan to a cooling rack and cool 20 minutes more. Use long tined fork or skewer and punch holes on the top. Combine sugar, orange juice, lemon juice and rum. Bring to boiling. Spook slowly over cake. Let absorb. Continue until syrup is used. Chill until serving time.
