Ingredients

  • For the Cake:
  • 1 box of graham crackers
  • 2 sm. boxes of instant french vanilla pudding
  • 1 8oz. container of cool whip
  • 3 c. milk
  • For the Frosting:
  • 1/3 c. powdered cocoa
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

In a small saucepan, combine mil, sugar and cocoa over med. heat stirring constantly bring to a boil for one minute. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and butter. Set aside
To make the custard, beat pudding and milk until thick. Fold in cool whip. Butter a 9x13 pan. Line the bottom with the graham crackers. Cover crackers with 1/2 the custard. Put another layer of crackers on top and add the remaining custard. Top with a third layer of crackers. Beat the chocolate frosting with a spoon until it thickens, pour and spread over the crackers. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight before serving.
