Ingredients
- 6 T. unsalted butter, softened
- 2 c. confectioners sugar, sifted
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- Pinch of salt
- 2 T. milk or heavy cream

Preparation
Step 1
In a medium bowl, using a handheld mixer, beat the softened butter at medium until smooth. Add the sugar, vanilla, and salt and beat until just combined on low speed. Increase the mixer speed to medium and beat until smooth. Add the liquid and beat until light and fluffy about 2 mins. Spread the fosting on cupcakes.
Frosting can be made ahead and refrigerated up to 3 days. Return to room temperature before using.
