- 1 baked savoury tart shell
- 6 slices bacon, cut into paperclip-sized pieces
- 2 eggs + 2 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- Salt and pepper
- A pinch of nutmeg

Directions
Heat the oven to 350°F/175°C. Fry the bacon gently to cook, but not make crisp. Drain on paper towel. Spread over the baked tart shell. Whisk together the eggs, using a fork, then and in the cream. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Strain into the pastry case and bake until set, about half an hour. Serve very hot.
