Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2/3 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 5 Tbsp. butter, melted and divided
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup dried fruit such as blueberries or cranberries

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 12 - 2 1/2" muffin cups. In a large bowl stir together dry ingredients. Make a well in the center of flour mixture; set aside.
In a 2 cup measuring cup whisk together eggs, buttermilk, sour cream and 3 Tbsp butter. Add to flour mixture. Stir until just moistened (batter should be lumpy). Gently fold in fruit.
Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups, filling each 3/4 full. Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with remaining butter and dip in sugar.
