Swiss-Onion Bread Ring

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 tsp poppy seeds, divided
  • 1 tube (17.4) refrigerated white bread dough
  • 1 c (4oz) shredded Swiss cheese
  • 3/4 c sliced gr. onions
  • 1/4 c butter or margarine, melted

Preparation

Step 1

Sprinkle 1/2 tsp poppy seeds in a greased 10 in. fluted pan. Cut the doough into twenty- 1-in pieces; place half in prepared pan. sprinkle with half of the cheese and onions. Top with 1 tsp poppy seeds; drizzle with half of the butter. Repeat layers. bake at 375 for 25 minutes or until golden brown, Immediately invert onto a wire rack. Serve warm
