Ingredients
- 2 C. Mayonnaise
- 2 C. ( 8 oz. ) Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 Lg. Onion, finely chopped
- 8 Bacon Strips, cooked & crumbled
- 1/2 C. Sweet Red Pepper, finely chopped
- 1/2 C. Green Pepper, finely chopped
- 1 tsp. Dried Oregano
- 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1 Round Loaf ( 1 lb. ) Sourdough Bread
- Assorted Crackers

Step 1
In a lg. bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. Cut the top fourth off the loaf of bread; carefully hollow out bottom, leaving a 1-in. shell. ( Save the inside pieces of the loaf for dipping. ) Spoon cheese mixture into bread shell. Wrap in a piece of aluminum foil ( about 24-in. x 18-in. ) Bake at 350 for 1 hr. or till heated through. Serve with saved bread pieces or crackers. *Reduced fat or fat free mayonnaise is not recommended for this recipe.
