Ingredients

  • FOR THE DOUGH
  • 150 g Manitoba flour
  • 150 g durum wheat flour
  • 100 g natural yeast
  • 220 g warm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 8 g salt
  • TO FILL THE PIZZA
  • olive oil
  • 250 g peeled tomatoes
  • 1 Mozzarella cheese
  • salt
  • oregano

Preparation

Step 1

Sift in a bowl the two flours collect to the center the yeast melted with honey and part of the water.

Start to stir with a fork and with hands fold the external strips inside.

Add oil and as much water to obtain a sticky dough, add salt and let the dough rise till it doubles its volume.

Grease a baking pan and put the dough inside, sprinkle it with flour so it can be stretched out in the pan. Let the pizza rest for another 1 or 2 hours then add tomatoes, salt, oregano and oil.

Put in the oven at 250°C and 5 minutes before cooking is completed add mozzarella cheese, complete cooking and serve hot.
