Ingredients

  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 T. Cajun seasoning
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. maple syrup
  • 2 T. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 6 oz. pkg. long-grain and wild rice, cooked

Preparation

Step 1

Sprinkle chicken with Cajun seasoning.

In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook chicken in butter until golden. Arrange chicken in a slow cooker.

In a bowl, mix together syrup, brown sugar and pecans, spoon over chicken.

Cover and cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours. Serve with cooked rice.

Serves 6.
