Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 2 to 4 T. butter
  • 1 t. salt
  • 14 oz. jar pizza sauce
  • 1/4 t. pepper
  • 6 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Italian bread crumbs

Step 1

Beat egg, salt, and pepper together. Dip chicken into egg and coat with bread crumbs. Saute chicken in butter in skillet. Place chicken in slow cooker. Pour pizza sauce over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Layer mozzarella cheese over top and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cook an additional 15 minutes.
