Ingredients
- Use 8 Winesap or tart apples
- Stir & Roll Pastry
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 T evaporated milk
- 2 T water
- Apple Pie
- 3 1/2 medium apples, washed, peeled and sliced thin
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1/4 t nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
- 1 T cornstarch
- 1 T lemon juice
- 2 T butter
- Pastry for double crust 9" pie

Preparation
Step 1
Make a Stir & Roll pastry (1/2 of recipe)
Stir til mixed
Form in a ball
Flatten slightly
Place between 2 pieces of waxed paper
Moisten with water if needed
Peel off top layer of paper and invert over drained and sugared apples
Put three slits in top of pastry
Slice 8-10 apples, quarter
Put in water with salt to keep from turning
Place in a pammed pan
Put 1/2-3/4 cup sugar and dot with butter
Top with pastry
Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until bubbly and brown
Apple Pie
Alternately, layer apples and sprinkle with sugar mixture in pastry lined pie pan
Sprinkle with lemon juice and dot with butter after layering completed
Top with pastry
Bake at 350 degrees until done
