Ingredients
- Icing:
- 1 1/2 cups butter softened
- 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 2/3 cup corn syrup
- 1/3 cup blackstrap molasses
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- Approp baking soda/ powder (calls for self rising I don't use)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 2 Tb heavy cream
- 2 balls stem ginger in syrup finely chopped
- 3 Tb butter
- 1 Tb syrup fro ginger
- 2 Tb heavy cream
- 1/3 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/3 cup conf. Sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Bars:
Put all ingredients except ginger in bowl & beat. Stir in ginger. Spread in a 9" x 13" baking pan lined w/ parchment paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 min.
Icing:
Put butter, brown sugar, syrup, cream in bowl microwave until butter melted & sugar dissolved. Whisk in conf. Sugar.
Remove cake from baking pan & drizzle w/ icing. Cut into bars.
