Preparation

Step 1

1. Red Layer: Boil 1 cup water. Add the jello to the boiling water, stir until dissolved. Mix the vodka with a 1/2 cup cold water, stir slightly. Wait for jello mixture cools slightly, then stir in the cold water and vodka mixture. Pour into 1oz jello shot cups, about 1/3 the way full. Chill in the fridge (or freezer for a quicker set, but keep an eye on them)

2. White Layer: Boil 1 cup water, mix in the milk, then set aside. Sprinkle the gelatin over 1/2 cup cold water, let stand for a few minutes. Boil 1/2 cup water, then blend into the gelatin mixture. Stir until dissolved. Blend the Milk and Gelatin mixtures and let cool to room temperature. Once the previous layer(s) have set, carefully pour this onto the shot for another 1/3 height. Note: This white mixture makes more than is needed for this recipe.

3. Blue Layer: Boil 1 cup water. Add the jello to the boiling water, stir until dissolved. Mix the Curacao with a 1/2 cup cold water, stir slightly. Wait for jello mixture cools slightly, then stir in the cold water and Curacao mixture. Once the previous layers have set and this mixture has cooled a bit, pour on top of other layers about 1/3 of the height or until top of the shot has been reached.
