Ingredients

  • Add:
  • 4 C. sifted flour
  • 3 T. sugar
  • 1 C. margarine(or butter or butter flavored shortening), softened
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Mix together like pie crust
  • 1 1/4 C. warm milk
  • 2 yeast
  • 3 beaten egg yolks

Step 1


Mix and let stand covered in refrigerator overnite.  
Roll out like pie crust, 1/2 dough at a time.
{FROSTING:  BUTTERCREAM FROSTING -- YOU KNOW, BUTTER, VANILLA, POWDERED SUGAR AND A DAB OF MILK}
Spread with melted butter
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Roll and cut 1 inch and flatten with palm of your hand.
Let rise until double in size. 
Bake 375 12-15 minutes
Frost & sprinkle with finely chopped nuts or candy sprinkles
