Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup pecans
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup dark Karo syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 t vanilla
- Dash of salt
- Pie shell
- Mom's Pecan Pie
- 1 cup lit Karo
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 T butter, melted
- 1 t vanilla
- 1/8 t salt
- 1 cup pecans, halves or chopped
- 1 unbaked pie shell
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
Mom's Pecan Pie
Mix all ingredients finishing with the pecans
Pour into unbaked pie shell
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 30-35 minutes or longer
Outer edges should be set - inside part slightly soft
