  • 1 14 oz package of carmels
  • 2/3 cups evaporated milk
  • 1 package german chocolate cake
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Combine carmels and 1/3 cup of milk. Melt in microvwave.. Combine cake mix, butter, 1/3 cup milk and nuts. Mix until it forms a dough. Press half of the dough into a greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake for 6 minutes. Remove from oven aand sprinkle chocolate chips over crust, spread caramel sauce over chips. Crumble reserved dough over mixture. Bake an additional 15-18 minutes. Cool slightly and refrigerate until caramel is set.
