Ingredients

  • COOKIE DOUGH
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 Cup Milk
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • MARSHMALLOW CREAM FILLING
  • 6 Tbsp Butter, slightly softened
  • 1 Cup Confectioners' Sugar
  • 1 Jar (7-7 1/2 oz) Marshmallow Cream
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease 2 large cookie sheets

2. Prepare cookie dough by beating flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, salt, milk, butter, egg and vanilla, with a spoon, until smooth.

3. Drop by heaping tablespoon, 2 inches apart, on cookie sheet. Bake until puffy and toothpick comes out clean, 12-14 minutes, Transfer to rack to cool.

4. When cool, prepare Marshmallow Creme Filling: In large bowl with mixer on medium speed, beat butter until smooth. Reduse mixer to low and gradually beat in confectioners' sugar. Beat in marshmallow cream and vanilla until smooth.

5. Spread rounded tablespoon of filling on flat side of 12 cookies. Top with remaining cookie.
