Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pork sausage, mild (Jimmy Dean)
  • 1 large bell pepper
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 rib of celery
  • 2 envelopes Lepton's Chicken noodle soup
  • 1/2 cup raw rice
  • 4 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 - 1 cup slivered almonds

Preparation

Step 1

Toss and brown sausage. Drain on paper towel; pour out grease. Saute in cut pieces of bell pepper, onion and celery.
Boil envelopes of soup, rice and water for 7 minutes. Place all together in casserole with almonds. Bake at 350 for 1 hour, covered.
