  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion (finely diced)
  • 1 lb spinach (frozen, thawed and drained)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (shredded)
  • 2-3 cups cheese (shredded, 4 or 6 blend)
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • salt
  • pepper

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a large baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onion. Add the spinach, garlic powder and dry mustard, and cook until the meat is done.

2. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, heavy cream, Parmesan, nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste and mix well. Combine the cream cheese mixture and the meat mixture in the large bowl. Spoon the entire combined mixture into the large baking dish. Top with the 4 or 6 blend shredded cheese.

3. Bake, uncovered, for 30 mins or until bubbly and slightly golden browned.
