Salsa Morena
A pasilla and ancho chile salsa that is served best with pork, chicken, turkey and duck.

Ingredients
- 2 chiles pasilla
- 2 chiles anchos
- 1 Tbs. lard or veg. oil
- 1/3 cup diced white onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 2 cups chicken stock
- Salt to taste

Preparation
Step 1
1. De-seed and de-vein chilis and tear into chunks
2. Saute onion and garlic in lard
3. Add raisins
4. Add chiles and saute for no more than 30 seconds
5. Add stock
6. Bring to boil, then simmer for 20 minutes adding salt to taste
7. Blend all ingredients in blender and serve
