German Pancake

A fluffy baked pancake great for breakfast. Try topping it with apple slices, powdered sugar & cinnamon, or your traditional butter & maple syrup.

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 Tablespoons shortening or butter
- Assorted toppings

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 425.
Put shortening/butter in pie plate and heat in oven while mixing batter.
Beat eggs. Add flour, salt & milk. Blend and pour into hot pie plate.
Bake at 425 for 15 mins then reduce heat to 375 and bake until brown.
Let cool 5 mins before slicing into 4 quarters. Serve with butter and maple syrup, fruit or any of your favorite pancake toppings.
