Ingredients
- 9 X13" pan
- 1 1/2 lbs walnuts, chopped fine
- 3/4 c sugar
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1 ob melted butter
- 1 lb fillo
- Syrup
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup honey
- Juice of 1 lemon

Preparation
Step 1
Mix walnuts, sugar and sinnamon, set aside
Brush melted butter in pan
Place 4 sheets of pastry on bottom, brushing each with butter as you layer them
Sprinkle with nut mixture
Cover with 3 layers of pastry sheels, buttered
Continue layering til all the nuts are used
Binish with 4 sheets on top
Cut pastry sheels into 12 squares then each square into two triangles
Makes 24 pieces
Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours
Pour warm syrup over pastry
Let set til absorbed
This will keep at room temperature for about a week to ten days
For longer storage, freeze
Syrup
Combine and boil for 10 minutes
