Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick or 4 ounces) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 bananas, mashed up
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 9x5 loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a another large bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until incorporated. Beat in the mashed bananas and vanilla. Gradually add in the flour mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Scrape the batter in the pan. Loosely cover with some foil. Bake 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes then invert on a cooling rack to cool completely.
