Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon chipped fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1/2 lb. Chinese barbecued pork
  • 4 Chinese mushrooms, soaked in warm water 20 minutes and sliced
  • 2 oz. carrot, sliced and parboiled
  • 1/2 lb. broccoli florets, blanched
  • 2 oz. bamboo shoots, sliced
  • 1/4 lb. bean sprouts, roots removed
  • 1/2 stock
  • 3 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dry sherry
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons cornstarch blended with 3 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 lb. soft-fried noodled

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oil in wok. Add ginger, garlic, pork and stir-fry 1-2 minutes. Add vegetables, stock, soy sauce, sherry and sugar. Simmer covered 2 minutes

Stir in combined cornstarch and water to thicken. Serve over hot noddles.
