Ingredients
- 1 1/2 C water
- 2 C milk
- 1 1/2 C cornmeal
- 1 1/4 t salt
- 1 1/2 t sugar
- 2 T butter
- 5 eggs
- 1 T baking powder

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Grease large shallow baking dish. Combine the water and milk and heat to simmer. Add the cornmeal, salt, sugar, and butter, and stir over medium heat til the mixture is thickened, about 5 mins. Remove from heat. Beat the eggs w/ the baking powder until they are very light and fluffy then add them to the cornmeal mixture. Mix well.
Pour into the prepared dish and bake @350 for 45 - 50 min. Serve hot.
