  • 2 kg pot roast (rump or chuck)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 medium potatoes, quartered
  • 4 carrots, cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 2 medium onions, halved
  • 1/2 cup water or beef broth

Preparation

Step 1

Sprinkle roast with salt and peppper. Place half of vegetables in bottom of crock, top with roast, the add remaining vegetables and liquid. Cover and cook.
1 (Low) for 10 hours
2 (Auto Shift) for 7 hours
3 (High) for 5 hours
