Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 tbs milk
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cheese
  • 2 tbs minced green onions

Step 1

In a bowl combine flour, milk, baking powder and salt. Blend in butter, cheese and onions. Beat until mixture is coarse in consistency. Gradually add water. Place portion of dough on a floured board. Knead until dough is smooth. Roll out to a 1/2- inch thickness. With a sharp knife, cut into 3-inch circles.Place biscuits on a greased cookie sheet. bake at 400° for 15 to 20 min. until brown. Remove to a rack. Use a metal spatula ro knife to remove . Serve immediately with butter.
