Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes

Great for kids' birthday parties! Cones are filled with cake batter and baked standing upright in a muffin pan. When cool, they are frosted and decorated as desired.

Ingredients
- 1 box cake mix, plus ingredients to prepare, or prepared scratch cake recipe
- Jumbo size flat-bottom ice cream cones
- 1 (16 oz) container ready-made frosting, or homemade recipe
- Assorted candy sprinkles for decorating, optional

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare cake mix or scratch recipe cake batter according to directions. Preheat oven accordingly.
Place cones in the cups of a standard 12-cup muffin pan. Fill cones no more than 2/3 full with batter. Carefully transport and place in preheated oven.
Bake as directed on package/recipe for cupcakes.
Cool completely.
Frost and decorate as desired.
