Ingredients

  • 2 - 3 lbs. chicken, select the pieces that you desire
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line the bottom of a 9" x 13" baking sheet with foil. Place the chicken pieces on the foil. Combine the butter, garlic, parsley, rosemary, and thyme; Mix well. Spread the butter mixture on top of the chicken pieces evenly with a small amount of the butter-herb mixture. Bake the chicken, turning and coating with the remaining butter-herb mixture, until the juices run clear when the thickest portion of the meat is pierced with a knife, about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

*To create an enhanced flavor, mix the butter and herbs together up to 8 hours ahead of time and refrigerate.*
