Ingredients
- 1/2 c margarine or butter
- 1 c brown sugar, packed
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg, beaten until light
- 3/4 c flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 c nuts, finely chopped

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter.
Add brown sugar, vanilla and egg. Beat thoroughly.
Add sifted flour, baking powder and salt to creamed mixture.
Add nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for about 5 mintues.
Cook for 1/2 minute.
Remove to wire racks. Cookies will get crisp when cooled.
