Ingredients

2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 teasp soda
juiice and grated rind of 1 orange
4 cups flour

Step 1

Sift soda and flour together. Cream shortening, sugar and eggs togetherl Add milk and orange juice. Add flour mixture. Bake 350 degrees for 8 mins.

juice and grated rind of 1 orange
1 cup confectioners sugar
3 teasp. butter
