Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt (depending on taste and brand of butter)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup toffee or caramel baking chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

2. Line a 9"x13" baking pan with parchment paper.

3. Spray the sides of the pan with nonstick vegetable spray and set aside.

4. In a large bowl, mix together butter and brown sugar.

5. Beat in eggs and vanilla until the mixture is smooth.

6. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt.

7. Mix in remaining ingredients, pour into the prepared pan, and spread out the mixture evenly.

8. Bake for 30 minutes, or until set in the middle of the pan.

9. Allow to cool before cutting into squares. These go well with a scoop of butter brickle ice cream.
