Preparation
Step 1
1. In a small bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let stand for 5 minutes or until foamy.
2. In the work bowl of a food processor, process flour and salt until combined. Slowly add yeast mixture and oil, processing until mixture forms a ball.
3. On a lightly floured surface, knead dough for 5 to 6 minutes or until smotth and elastic.
4. Spray a medium bowl with nonstick cooking spray. Place dough in bowl, turning to grease top. Cover loosely, and let rise in a warm place, free from drafts, for 45 minutes or until doubled in size.
5. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Sprinkle a clean, flat surface heavily with cornmeal. Place dough in center of cornmeal, and roll out to a 1/4-inch thickness, 15-inch round. Place on a large baking sheet or pizza stone.
6. Spread Easy Pizza Sauce over dough, leaving a 1/2 inch border. Sprinkle with 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese. Top with sausage, salami, pepperoni, and Canadian bacon. Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
7. Bake for 14 to 18 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Easy Pizza Sauce:
In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook for 5 to 6 minues or until tender. Add tomatoes and Italian seasoning; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
