Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup Shortening
• 1 cup Sugar
• 3 Eggs
• 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla
• 3-1/2 cups Flour
• 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
• 1/2 Teaspoon Salt

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Cream Shortening
Add Sugar, Eggs & Vanilla
Mix together Flour, Baking Powder & Salt and add
Chill dough at least 3 hours or overnight
Roll dough out on a lightly floured pastry 1/8-1/4 inch thick
Use cookie cutters and make cookies
Cook 8-10 Minutes
Let cool and decorate
