Ham and Broccoli Pasta Bake

Ingredients
- 8 ounces pasta (shells)
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon minced garlic
- 3 cups cubed cooked ham
- 1 cup frozen broccoli
- 3 Tablespoons butter
- 3 Tablespoons flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- 3/4 cup crushed butter cracker crumbs (Ritz)

Step 1
Cook the pasta noodles al dente according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
Saute the onion in the olive oil for 2-3 minutes. Add the garlic and ham and saute for 2 more minutes.
Run the broccoli under hot water for 1 minute to thaw partially. Drain and add to the ham mixture. Set aside.
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the flour and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Slowly stir in the milk. Cook and stir for a few more minutes, until the mixture thickens slightly. Stir in parmesan cheese, 3/4 cup cheddar, and 3/4 cup mozzarella. Stir until melted and creamy. Add the ham mixture and pasta. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Spoon the mixture into a casserole dish that has been sprayed with non stick spray. Sprinkle with all the remaining cheeses. Top with the cracker crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Serve hot. Store remaining pasta bake in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Serves 6-8.
