Ingredients
- 2 quarts chicken stock
- 2 TBSP rosemary
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp celery seed
- 1 tsp fennel seed
- 2 cups clam juice
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- pinch of sea salt
- 3 TBSP tomato paste
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup white wine or beer
- 2 Lbs. uncooked shrimp, tail on
- 1 loaf french bread or rice

Step 1
1. Pour broth into a large pot and mix in the next nine ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
2. Stir wine or beer into soup and continue to simmer and occasionally stir 2 hours.
3. Just before serving, stir in shrimp. Continue cooking 3 minutes, or until shrimp are opaque.
Serve with bread or rice for soaking up all the broth
