Ingredients
- 1 c almonds, soaked for 3 hours and drained
- 1 ⁄2 c pecans
- 1 ⁄2 c water, divided
- 2 ⁄3 c dates
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp cocoa or cacao powder
- 1 ⁄4 c old fashioned oats
- 2 tbsp shredded coconut

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°F.
Add almonds, pecans and ¼ water to blender jar and secure lid. Select Speed 1 for 20 seconds, then press "Pulse" stop. Add remaining ingredients to jar in order listed and secure lid. Select Speed 1 for 30 seconds, then press "Pulse" to stop.
Oil (or spray with non-stick spray) a 9-x-9 inch pan and press mixture in to the bottom of the pan. Bake for 50 minutes. Cool completely and cut into eight 2-x-4 inch pieces. Wrap in plastic wrap and use within 3 days or freeze for up to one month.
