Ingredients

  • 4 Jars Bertolli Tomato and Basil Sauce
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 lb italian sausage
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • garlic
  • 2 T fennel, crushed
  • Italian Seasoning to taste
  • Oregano to taste
  • T sugar
  • 1 carton Ricotta Cheese
  • 1 cup Parmesan
  • 1 cup Mozzarella
  • 1 cup Italian Cheese blend
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 T parsley flakes
  • 1 package sliced Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Italian Cheese blend

Preparation

Step 1

Brown meats, onion and garlic; drain grease. Add 3 jars Bertolli sauce, spices and sugar. Simmer for a bit.

Mix Ricotta, 1 cup each, parmesan, mozzarella, italian cheese blend, eggs and parsley flakes.

In bottom of lasagna pan, pour 1/2 jar of Bertolli Sauce. Add layer of lasagna noodles, 1/2 of cheese mixture and 1/3 meat sauce. Add another layer of noodles, remaining cheese mixture and 1/3 meat sauce and mozzarella slices. Add final layer of noodles, remaining meat sauce, 1 cup Italian Cheese blend. Pour remainder of Bertolli sauce on top.

Bake @ 350 for 1 1/2 hours. Cover for first part of cooking and uncover last 30 minutes to brown.
