Easy Apple Crisp with Cake Mix

Ingredients

6 Granny Smith apples (or any kind of baking apples)
1/2 cup butter
1/2 box yellow cake mix
1/4 cup sugar
cinnamon, to taste
nuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Peel and slice apples and place into square baking dish. Melt butter. Take cake mix and sprinkle over top the apples. Mix together sugar and cinnamon and put over the top of the cake mix. Pour melted butter over top. Add nuts, if desired. Bake for approximately 30 minutes.
