  • 6 medium all-purpose potatoes pared and quartered
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 6 green onions sliced
  • 2 cups diced cabbage
  • 1/2 cup hot milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon green pepper sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Boil potatoes until tender then drain.
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in pan and add cabbage and green onions.
Cook over low heat until tender about five minutes.
Mashed potatoes until smooth then add milk and other ingredients.
Mix well.
Make a well in potatoes and add remaining tablespoon butter.
