Italian Wontons

Ingredients
- 6 oz. sweet Italian sausage, casing removed
- 1/4 c. onions, chopped
- 1 sm. red bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 c. mozzarella, shredded
- 1/4 c. parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 pkg. wonton skins
- 1 1/2 c. canola oil
- 1 c. marinara sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Place sausage into wok and set to SEAR. Break up into sm. pieces and cook through. Drain fat and place back into wok. Add onions, peppers, parsley, and garlic powder to wok; cook for 3 mins.
Transfer sausage mixture to a bowl and add cheeses; mix well. Clean wok, pour oil into the wok and set to SEAR, till it reaches 350.
Place wonton skins on a flat surface w/ one corner towards you like a diamond. Place 1 tsp. of sausage mix in the center of each wonton. Moisten the wonton edges w/ water and fold one corner over to form triangle; press to seal. Bring the two points to the center of the wonton and press down w/ moist fingers.
Cover w/ a damp paper towel till ready to cook. Add 3 wontons to wok; cook 3 mins. on each side till golden. Remove wontons and place on paper towels to drain excess. Repeat remaining wontons. Serve w/ marinara sauce.
